Damien Prud'homme
Soloist, composer, art director, Damien Prud’homme has several keys to his tenor to make you browse every musical sensation. The artist from Lorraine builds up experiences with for only priorities the love of acoustic sound and creativity ranging for :

Besides a classical training at the Metz CRR Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional (until 1995), he has spent more than 19 years playing on stage (Nice jazz festival, Nancy Jazz Pulsations, Jazz à Vienne,…) and travelling to New York, Berlin, Alger, Bruxelle, Perm, Moscow, Quito, Rio, Mumbai…. That’s how he has shaped his rich play full of emotion.
He is open to exchanges and curious about all musics. On the flute, clarinet and saxophones, he has taken part to the project Indian meets Europe with Pandit Dobrat Mishra ! (Live Album 2012 and also played for Kader Fahem 5tet (Flamenco), Son Del Son (salsa)…
Urged by the thirst to pass on, he has been a teacher and coordinator for the jazz department of the Metz CRR since 2007. He also organizes with a trio educational concert called A Jazz History.
Finally, he composes or writes arrangements for various groups as concert bands, string orchestras, a clarinet quartets, a saxophone octect or big bands. (Prize- winner of Luxembourg 2012 composition contest)… He owes his knowledge and energy to undertake projects to meetings with musicians such as : Bob Mintzer, Randy Brecker, Paquito D’Rivera, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Patti Austin, André Ceccarelli, Stéphane Guillaume, Benoît Sourisse, Franck Agulhon, Sylvain Beuf, Eric Barret, Hervé Sellin, Pierre Alain Goualch, Franck Tortiller, Claude Egéa, Andréas Ôberg, Marcel Loeffler, Chris Cheek, Rick Margitza…
