Stéphane Chausse
Clarinettist, saxophonist and flutist, Stéphane Chausse graduated from the Conservatoire de Nice, Rueil Malmaison and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
This dual training has enabled him to perform with the Orchestre National de Paris and the Symphonique Européen, as well as being invited to play with a number of jazz orchestras, including the Paris Jazz Big Band, Jean-Pierre Como Quartet, Hervé Sellin Tentet, Paco Sery Group, Michel Legrand Big Band, Charlier-Sourisse Big-band, John Beasley.
Stéphane Chausse has also performed alongside artists such as Quincy Jones, Clark Terry, Benny Golson, Benny Maupin, Diana Krall (DVD Live in Paris), Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Marcus Miller.
His skills have also been called upon in the world of variety, appearing on around a hundred recordings: Claude Nougaro, Charles Aznavour, Henri Salvador, Julien Clerc, Mylène Farmer, Florent Pagny, Francis Cabrel, Zaz.
Stéphane Chausse has produced and composed two albums, Rue Longue (****Talent ) and Kinematics (Choc Jazzman - Élu Citizen Jazz).
