The traditional "Harrogate Saxophone Summer school" will take place online this year, under the direction of Rob Buckland. See you from August 23rd to 26th... from your living room.
This summer class offers online courses and masterclasses via ZOOM with world-renowned saxophonists: Rob Buckland, Carl Raven, Gillian Blair et Sally MacTaggart.
In addition to classes and question-and-answer sessions with teachers, the program includes warm-up and practice exercises as well as workshops to practice virtual ensemble playing, from duet to saxophone choir. In the evenings, times for discussion, quizzes and concerts are planned. Individual lessons are also possible.
This online class emphasizes participation and takes place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to encourage participants to become aware of their abilities, develop self-confidence in their saxophone playing and experience in music-making
The teachers have been selected for their sense of listening and pedagogy. Students benefit from a wide range of resources, training sessions and advice to help them progress whatever their level.
The class will take place from August 23rd 7:30 pm to August 26th 9:00 pm. Participants will also enjoy a live concert on August 30th at 7:30 pm!
