SELMER Music Festival in Montmartre

Did you know that it was at number 4 Place Charles Dullin, formerly Place Dancourt (Paris 18th), near Montmartre that Henri SELMER opened his very first workshop? It is precisely there that we will meet you on the Music Festival to celebrate our heritage and share our common passion…
The Henri SELMER Paris team will meet you on June 21 from 6 p.m. for open-air concerts:
- 6 p.m.: Wind orchestra of the Paris Conservatory with Davy Basquin
Professor at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris-Boulogne Billancourt and at the City of Paris (CRR and Conservatoire Maurice Ravel), but also artistic advisor for Maison SELMER, Davy Basquin directs the Conservatory's wind orchestra.
- 6:40 p.m.: SELMER Orchestra
Whether they have been playing for forty years or six months, whether they work in the Research & Development department or in the accounting department, the members of the SELMER team also offer you their little concert!
- 7 p.m.: The Cantastorie
This duo combining singing, guitar and clarinet was born from the desire to introduce everyone to the Italian repertoire. A captivating theatrical concert mixing haunting ballads and humorous tunes, while incorporating narration segments to make it accessible to non-Italian speakers.
- 7:45 p.m.: Swamp City Six
Originally from Tours, “Swamp City Six” brings together six musicians playing the music of New Orleans during the Roaring Twenties. With tunes of swing, ragtime, or even blues and inspired by the greatest Louisiana jazz musicians such as Louis Armstrong or Sidney Bechet, the music they offer is as beautiful as it is energetic.
- 9:30 p.m.: Los Malditos
A band ranging from 4 to 12 musicians, Los Malditos will have you dancing to cumbia, mambo and cha-cha-cha, to the sound of saxophones, percussions, guitar, violin, trumpet, drums… In fact, it's is the traditional ball of yesteryear that you have always dreamed of, to the sound of Latin American rhythms!
