Jazz Flow for alto saxophone

When blowing it for the first time my immediate impression is that it has a phenomenal response level. The overall tone is full, on the brighter end of the scale, and bursting with vibrancy; equally, it offers a massive response in the mids and lows. From this point of view, it feels like it can do everything, and it makes you want to just keep on playing it! Further to this, due to its superb response, it allows the sub-tone to be fully present and easily accessible.

It’s really a mouthpiece that allows me to play through every aspect of my practice, whether that’s playing in an ensemble with slightly less timbre, or as a soloist, where you need a richer sound, more timbre; even according to the style of music, I really manage to do everything with this mouthpiece!

The Jazz Flow mouthpiece has a beautifully focused sound. It also has that quality I really love in an alto sax mouthpiece which I describe as a “crisp singing quality”. I love the depth and texture of the sound it produces, the notes sound rich and full of character.
