Regular price 6900€
Sale price 6900€ Regular price

A prestigious Selmer Mark VI 5 digit silver alto saxophone with gold-plated bell from January 1958.
We have completely restored it for sale:
Complete disassembly, dent removal, mechanical rectification, replacement of all springs, felts and pads, in short, everything has been done!
Replacement of the left hand thumb support and the G#/Bb dumbbell screws with modern screws (more precise in adjustment but we provide the original screws with the sax).
In very good general condition with some signs of use all the same.
Visible but discreet dent removal of the cylinder head, we did not want to disassemble the reinforcement in order to save the silvering.
Re-stamp with Pisoni pro plastic resonator pads.
Manufacture of a neck end ring (cork side), lost by the previous owner, made in raw brass by us.
Supplied in its original case with two period mouthpieces in good working order as well as two microfibre cloths and a silvering cloth.
We also provide the two original dumbbell screws if its future owner wishes to restore it to its original condition.
1 year warranty with a free check/adjustment at the end of the warranty.
A legendary saxophone in a rather rare finish with its gold-plated inner bell.
Will easily delight a pro or an enthusiast wishing to treat themselves to the Rolls Royce of saxophones!
