Alessandro Trianni
Alessandro Trianni started studying saxophone at the age of 7. Student of Luigi Fazi, at the Conservatory "Tito Schipa" of Lecce, he obtained under his guide first the graduation with 10/10, then the second level specialist degree in musical disciplines with 110 and unanimous praise presenting a thesis on “La storia del saxofono e il suo repertorio”.
He participated in several master classes, the latest was a saxophone university course at the Musical University of Andalucia (Spain) taught by teachers Claude Delangle, Juan Jimenez Alba, Vincent David, Arno Borkamp and Eric Devallon.
He is the winner of numerous national and international musical competitions where he presents himself both as a soloist and in important chamber ensembles, like the "National Award of the Arts" - 2008 edition - organized by the Higher Musical Artistic Training (AFAM) where it is winner of the "musical interpretation" category in the "wind" section.
From a musical agreement with fellow students and colleaugues, he gives life to the Saxophone quartet called "Quatuor Areté", he performs in events and concert seasons of particular importance.
Another project and musical collaboration is the one in Sax-Piano duo whose repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary music. In the years from 2008 to 2010 with the pianist Luigi Antonio Nicolardi he founded the "Duo Italis", which was winner of numerous competitions, and he holds a series of concerts in Italy and abroad culminated in the first record publication Soundciak, a tribute to the world of soundtracks of Italian cinema, promoted by all Rotary Clubs of the province of Lecce. In January 2012, together with the pianist Giuseppe Fanciullo, he created another record work entitled Prelude.The CD collects some of the most important and difficult pieces of the Saxophonistic repertoire. In 2013, as director and soloist, he created the cd Musical Shades with the Salento Sax Ensemble, a group made up of young musicians and students of the sax classes of the T. Schipa Conservatory of Music in Lecce and in Ceglie Messapica .
He has distinguished himself in precious concert performances: in places and cultural events with the Quatour Areté, with the "duo del Sol", with the "Duo Italis", with the Wind Orchestra of the Tito Schipa Conservatory in Lecce. In particular the concerts held in France for Sax quartet and wind orchestra. He continues to carry out chamber and concert activities in different formations and musical styles. He performed in concerts with the Departmental Marching Band of the Taranto Navy too.
After teaching saxophone at the detached section of the Conservatory of music "T. Schipa "in Ceglie Messapica , from 2019/20 he becomes saxophone teacher at the Conservatory of Music" Egidio R. Duni "of Matera.
