Gaetano Di Bacco
With the ACCADEMIA Saxophone Quartet he has more than 1,600 concerts to his credit in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the USA and South America and has performed in renowned institutions and festivals (Mozarteum in Salzburg, Teresa Carreno Theatre in Caracas, the Palau de la Musica in Valencia, Spain, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, the Konzerthaus in Bern, the Paolina Chapel of the Quirinal in Rome, the Opera-Theatre of Saint-Etienne, the "Lisinski" Theatre in Zagreb, the Europalia Festival in Brussels, etc. ).
He has collaborated with many symphony orchestras including the Rome Opera Orchestra, the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, the Minneapolis Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Kiev Opera, Adana (Turkey), Chishinau, (Moldavia), Voronezh (Rousse) and has performed in concert with renowned soloists (C. Delangle, B. Canino, M. Damerini, L. Castellani, etc...) He is the interpreter of important Italian composers (E. Morricone, A. Gentile, F. Mannino...).
Professor of saxophone at the Conservatory of Pescara, he has held master classes in Italy, France (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris), Belgium Brussels Royal Conservatory, Germany Hochschule di Mannheim, Slovenia, USA, Turkey and Venezuela and has participated in four editions of the World Congress of the Saxophone (Japan, Italy, Spain and Minneapolis USA).
Gaetano Di Bacco is the dedicatee of more than 70 works that he has performed in world premieres, and member of juries of international saxophone competitions, and has recorded 12 CDs for Nuova Era and Dynamic.
He has published works for saxophone quartet and saxophone and piano by Lemoine and Billaudot editions.
