Axelle Ciofolo-de Peretti
After having started playing the clarinet in the Vendée region of France, she studied with Pierre Gallier at the CRR of Nantes (44) and with Véronique Fèvre at the CRR of Saint Maur des Fossés (94). She then entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon in the class of Jacques Di Donato and Nicolas Baldeyrou, and obtained her Master's degree in June 2010.
For the past twenty years, she has participated in various projects with the 2e2m ensemble, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre National de Bretagne, Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Paris, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre de l'Opéra de Toulon, Orchestre de Paris…
In 2010, she participates, within Ensemble 2e2m, in a creation of the Argentinean composer Oscar Strasnoy, the opera Cachafaz, directed by Benjamin Lazar. This production allowed her to tour in different French venues such as Théâtre de Cornouaille in Quimper, Théâtre National de Bretagne, Opéra Comique, Théâtre de Besançon and Théâtre 71 in Malakoff (resumed in 2013).
In September 2012, she joined the street theater band “Les Grooms”, as a clarinetist, saxophonist, singer and actress. She performs in festivals and gatherings dedicated to Street Arts. Renowned for elaborating and adapting street operas, this company has existed since 1984 and has toured the world in many festivals.
In 2016, it was invited to work on Benjamin Lazar, Florent Hubert and Judith Chemla's project, Traviata, vous méritez un avenir meilleur, created in September 2016 at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord, with which it has already toured for three years in France and abroad. This production will be revived in September 2023.
Member of the quartet “Les 400 coups” (clarinet, euphonium, baritone saxophone, lyrical singing), she mixes as much as possible in her projects the theater and music, lyrical and fantasy.
Since 2016, she supervises workshops for children and adults at the Philharmonie de Paris (clarinet, flute and saxophone).
She is currently clarinet teacher at the Conservatoire municipal de Chevilly Larue (94) and co-organizes with Loïc Poinsenet workshops for adults in the Deux-Sèvres.
Passionate about the world of early childhood, she obtained in June 2021 her CAP Accompagnant Éducatif Petite Enfance (early childhood educational assistant) and develops her activity with the youngest (music awareness, workshops in nursery, animations).
She trained in the League of Theatrical Improvisation (LIFI), in clowning (Fabrice Salé) and in Commedia del Arte (Compagnie le Mystère Bouffe) as well as in opera singing (Marie-Françoise Lefort).
She is working in collaboration with Hélène Leloup (piano) and Eva Châtelain (painter and illustrator) on a project of “Ciné-dessiné” (film concert and live illustrations) for children and adults, which is scheduled for creation in the fall of 2023.
