Dmytro Pylypchak
Dmytro Pylypchak, born in Ternopil, Ukraine is a clarinetist of Lublin Opera since October 2024. Besides he performs as principal, bassethorn and bass clarinet with many orchestras such as Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra, Corda Cracovia Symhony Orchestra, ICON Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, which gave him an opportunity to collaborate with leading conductors including Oksana Lyniv, Antony Wit, Hubert Kowalski, Paweł Przytocki and many others.
Dmytro is a laureate of several music competition one such as the Kaleo Mullberg Clarinet Competition in Odessa (Ist prize), Gran Canaria International Clarinet Competition (second prize), 4th Lazlo Spezzaferri International Music Competition (second prize)
He also performs as a soloist and chamber musician, he performed during European Clarinet Congress (Poland, Netherlands, Italy), 5th International Clarinet Week (Spain), Academy of Inspiration (Poland), Korzkiew Summer Festiwal (Poland), 10 International Festival & Summer Academy Chigiana (Italy), “Musical appointment” in collaboration with Festival di Radicondoli (Italy).
He studied clarinet in Ternopil Musical College in class of Evgen Gayda. He is currently a student of Krzysztof Penderecki at the Academy of Music in Kraków in class of prof. Andrzej Godek and Dr. hab. Barbara Borowicz.
From October 2024 Dmytro is a student of Alessandro Carbonare at Accademia di Santa Cecilia.
