Accords Perdus
Accords Perdus performs the great works of the classical and contemporary repertoire, with a touch of traditional folklore. They rewrite and arrange to create unique programs for each performance (Corelli, Mozart, Piazzolla, Bizet, Cosma, Rossini, Williams...).
Founded in 2009, Accords Perdus hails from the Hauts-de-France region of France, was initially formed as a quartet with a rich repertoire of original works showcasing the entire clarinet family.
Wishing to go further, the ensemble strengthened its programs by proposing its own arrangements of any style and for several types of instrumental formation using E♭ clarinet, B♭ clarinet, alto clarinet, basset horn and bass clarinet. As a result, the ensemble has decided to add a fifth member, to allow for more artistic proposals and a more elaborate repertoire.
In the service of music, Accords Perdus broadens its repertoire by inviting the vocal element, adding another airy color to its programs. Drums are also sometimes invited.
The variable-geometry ensemble is also happy to collaborate with harmony orchestras, clarinet choirs and so on.
Accords Perdus has built its identity on its personal and varied repertoire. Audiences are swept away by their intimate, convivial universe, and enjoy moments of sharing and complicity around the clarinet.
