Yves Sévère
Yves Sévère is professor at the Conservatoire of Nantes (France). He is a member of the juries of the CNSM of Paris and Lyon, and has given master classes of clarinet and chamber music in France and China. Prize winner of Cziffra Foundation in 1984 and Menuhin Foundation in 1988, he performed in numerous festivals in France, Germany, Hungary as well as in Asia (French May of Hong Kong, Canton, Macau, “Folle Journée” of Tokyo).
He has been invited to collaborate with the Orchestre National de l'Opéra de Paris, Les Concerts Lamoureux, the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire. He has been involved in contemporary music, notably with the Groupe de Musique Expérimentale de Bourges and the Atelier Musical de Blanc-Mesnil. Among his chamber music partners are the Arpeggione, Castagneri, Danel, Debussy, and Manfred quartets.
