Emmanuelle Brunat
A former student of Pierre Dubier at the Grenoble Conservatory and Richard Vieille at the Paris Conservatory, Emmanuelle Brunat entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in Jacques Di Donato's class and was awarded first prize for her graduation in 2007.
In contact with the latter, she became interested in contemporary music and improvisation. She plays occasionally with various orchestras (Orchestre National de Lyon, Philharmonic of Radio France...) and participates in many chamber music projects. In 2003 she participated in the creation of the Dzhari wind quintet and then got involved with conviction in various humanitarian projects (concerts in prisons, help in the creation of music schools in underprivileged towns...). She is also at the origin of the creation of the multidisciplinary ensemble Road 236 (composers, musicians, dancers...). This contemporary music ensemble was invited to the Okinawa festival (the Kijimuna festa) in 2008 and resided at l'Astré and the Croiseur de Lyon in 2007 and 2008.
