Pierre-Marie Lapprand
Saxophonist always looking for new sound horizons, Pierre Lapprand explores the most punk corners of modern Jazz with his quartet CHRONES, improvises interstellar landscapes with his duo Congé Spatial and creates an electronic universe with telluric energy in his solo project Pierre & The Stompers.
Graduated from the Paris Conservatory, he often tours in France and Europe: Jazz à Vienne, Jazz in Marciac, Jazz sous les Pommiers, Jazz à la Villette, Jazzkaar, Kongsberg Jazz Festival, ViJazz Penedes, Umbria Jazz Festival, Love Supreme Festival, etc.
Pierre also had the pleasure to open for Herbie Hancock at JazzOpen Stuttgart (GER), for Avishai Cohen at the Philharmonie de Paris, for Gerald Clayton at the Nice Jazz Festival as well as for Ben Wendel at the New Morning…
