Adrian Hanack

Adrian Hanack
Adrian Hanack always has surprises in store, from avant-garde solos to imaginative and ethereal ballad performances.

Adrian Hanack was born in a small town in the east of Germany. Growing up in a religious environment, he was introduced to the organ and classical church music in general from a very early age. Much later, he said that this could explain his attraction to improvised music and jazz. So, at the age of 11, he picked up his first saxophone and has never put it down.

He lived in Berlin for a few years and studied jazz saxophone, flute and clarinet and composition in Hamburg.

Having played with several members of the music scene, recorded 4 albums with Lisa Wulff, 3 albums with his fusion band, We don't suck, we blow!, toured with the NDR Big Band, notably with Al Jarreau and played with the band MEUTE, Adrian has given countless concerts all over the world.
